TRIPLEX PROJECT

Two Triplexes for Staff Housing

To combat a shortage of staff housing, two triplexes were built. It’s a project that was done primarily by volunteers and headed by Randal Schafer, a supporter of Holbrook Indian School (HIS). He recently retired from full-time general surgery in December 2020 but took on our triplex building project in 2019, completing it in May 2022.

Between the two buildings, there are six apartments for staff members. Each triplex contains three single car garages; two apartments with two bedrooms and two bathrooms; and a one bedroom, one bathroom apartment.

Triplex Completed, Staff Move In

A huge “thank you” to Randal Schafer, all of the volunteers, and friends who helped make these beautiful homes for our staff possible. We praise God for each of you.

A Message from Randal Schafer

“A little less than two years ago, I began a faith-building journey and volunteered to help Holbrook Indian School build two triplexes for staff housing.

It’s been challenging dealing with fundraising, but God has blessed us and continues to supply our needs. There have been many marvelous answered prayers along the way.

We have completed the project. If it were not for our supporting friends and many people coming to help us, we would not have made it this far. Thank you!”
