Holbrook Indian School's Voice for the Creator
.
"H.I.S. Voice for the Creator" is a radio broadcast aired locally at KJNN-LP, 94.7 FM.

Listen to our first broadcast, "Designed for Flight"!

Summary: Amazing wonders such as airplanes have existed long before the Wright brothers! Birds, for example, are designed perfectly for flight, and are in actuality, much more elaborately designed than the most high tech military aircraft. How do wonders such as birds exist? Many say they just evolved through the undirected process of natual selection. Confusion regarding the difference between experimental science and historical science has resulted in making evolution seem more plausible to the general public given our confidence in the power of science to produce the amazing technological wonders we enjoy today.

The following images of the "lowly" feather illustrate only a tiny bit of the complexity of design of the avian species. The intricate system of barbs and barbules enables birds to keep their feathers ready for flight by simply mending any "tears" with their beaks.
